What is the difference between a black box policy and an app-based policy?
Putting it simply:
- Our Better Driver (app-based) policy is for more experienced drivers who want to be rewarded for driving safely. It works through our smartphone app.
- Our New Driver or Private Car Telematics (black box) policy is for new and inexperienced drivers, who often struggle to get a decent price elsewhere for their insurance. This policy requires the driver to have a black box installed.
